Adam R. Smith is the Executive Director and Chief Consultant for S.A. Solar Solutions in India. Adam has spent the last 7 years working in various areas of the power generation industry, working with both largescale utility companies using conventional power generation sources and solar power development companies. Involved in energy projects across the United States and globally, Adam's experience in the global solar market continues to create significant values for customers both in India and abroad. Adam received dual degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied global energy policy and sustainable environmental development.

In 2008 Adam moved to India to focus on the developing renewable energy markets in the country. In 2009, Adam along with a group of solar and energy industry veterans from both India and the United States, formed S.A. Solar Solutions Pvt. Ltd, a solar technology and industry consulting company built on more than 30 years of experience in the global energy market.
