Anil Patni works as Head of Communications and External Affairs for Tata BP Solar, India's pioneer and market leader in the solar energy industry. He is a media and communications professional with more than 20 years of work experience in leading newspapers (Rajasthan Patrika, The Times of India) and foreign diplomatic missions in New Delhi (British High Commission, USIS/ American Embassy and the Delegation of the European Commission in India). At Tata BP Anil Patni leads public affairs, policy advocacy, and promotional strategy including brand building to help popularize solar energy in India. He is an articulate voice of the solar industry and uses his media experience to raise public awareness about renewable energy. He has authored more than 30 newspaper articles and appeared on national television to promote the use of solar energy. He has done an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
