Busso von Alvensleben has 23 years of diversified international experience in both the public and corporate sectors, including directing international consultancy assignments and implementing public and private sector projects. His expertise encompasses policy & regulatory reform, Development Banking and Finance. In India he is specialised in Energy Policy work, Energy Finance and Energy Project Management. He has worked for KfW Development Bank, International Consulting firms, the United Nations and for the German Government. His international experience includes Europe, Anglophone East Africa, Francophone West Africa, the United States and India.

Busso von Alvensleben holds a Master Degree in Development Economics from Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C and LM Law from Freie Universität, Berlin/Germany. He is a former Fulbright Scholar.
