Narasimhan co-founded Energy Alternatives India, a renewable energy consulting firm, and currently leads the consulting and research practice. For over six years, Narasimhan has been focussing on understanding renewable energy markets and strategic levers for success in these markets. His renewable energy work for India has focussed on providing business intelligence, strategic consulting and opportunity analysis to entrepreneurs, top management and businesses expanding into renewable energy. He, along with his team, aspire to act as catalysts for creating awareness about renewable energy and sustainability in India.

Narasimhan holds a BTech from IIT Madras and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta, and had earlier worked in industry research, consulting and sales positions before starting his stint in the renewable energy field.
