I have graduated in Electronics & Communication Engg., with Honours, and, completed M.B.A., from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. I have over 25 years of professional experience and have worked in reputed public sector and private sector companies, and, have served in varied industry disciplines, namely, Electronics (Semiconductors, Solar Photovoltaics and PCs), Telecom, Power and Financial Services. I have handled cross-functional assignments in Public Policy, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Consulting, Projects, Manufacturing, Operations and Liaison. I head the Govt Interface at India Semiconductor Association. In my present capacity, I have been actively involved in recommending suitable policy initiatives for growth of the domestic electronics and solar PV industry - certain key policy proposals have been implemented and others are under active consideration of the Govt. I have played an active role in bringing out industry reports and organising events dedicated to the sector with Govt support. I have helped in positioning ISA as a leading trade body and a knowledge partner to the Govt.
