Su-Kam is a leading power back-up and renewable energy solution provider from India. Su-Kam's main focus in on new technologies for the power back-up industry including solar/wind hybrid converters, battery monitoring and control, telecom inverters, grid interactive inverters and smart grid applications. Venkat Rajaraman joined Su-Kam from NVIDIA corp where he was the Director of Engineering. Prior to that Venkat was the Vice President of Engineering at PortalPlayer, a company that developed core technologies that drove the most popular portable multi-media products such as personal media players and wireless smart phones. PortalPlayer was acquired by NVIDIA Corp in Jan 2007. Venkat has BE degree from Madurai-Kamaraj University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Prior to Portalplayer, Venkat worked at Sun Microsystems, CA and has over 20 years of experience in ASIC, SW, System design and Engineering Management.
